that it's better than the first.

I didn't really enjoy the first game, so i won't be buying the sequel :(

Seems better than the first, but I too *HATE* the original one, ONLY because of the horribly lacking controls.

Rule one in making a console FPS... If you're going to allow the AI to bounce all over, be allowed to have adequate control.

MP1 and 2 do not. You can not strafe and aim at a target without first standing as a bullseye, using R to aim in park, then hitting a LOCKON button... *THEN* you can freely move and fight on fair ground at only the cost of maybe 20-100 HP depending on your target. TOTAL FUCKIN BS!

Metroid on the DS will allow for correct control, tried it at EB the other day...that is one Metroid 3D game to appreciate instead of this shit. And yes, online pics do make it look at lot worse than the LCD the DS uses... you don't see any pixelization, angles, etc...really does scarily look just a small bit subpar to Metroid Prime 1, but not by much.

But only to start off with, once you get used to jumping and using your enviroment to your advantage, it's not so bad!

I didn't feel the controls were bad. On the contrary, I felt they made the game too easy. But then again I have long fingers and can comfortably hold my controller in ways it was not designed to....

Getting used to a very differant control style. Just like the first time I played Goldeneye, I really didn't like the controls, but they became very natural.

The game looks very solid and word of mouth is great - Better than Prime, but not for those who didn't like the first one.

I already played a test of it and it handled the same way but earlier on.

See my issue in the first was the rapid bobbing movement of the Space Pirates, which in MP2 the early on guys move just like. The controls I agree make the game very easy, until about 2/3 in. When it comes to where you're around to the Phazon Armor you got pirates in every damn main area and junction. They move in that rapid way you just can't get a lockon fast enough not to take a hit or two, but it's exponentially worse when there's like 2-4 of them. It's just blatantly stupid and cheap they didn't wisely use the C-stick for movement and the Analog left for mouselook to be able to rapidly aim and take out targets.
