Finally got out to see this flick...

For all you assfuckers out there... Yes, Christian Bale is a fine actor. He just happens to pick very bad movies. This, however, was pretty darn good. It's interesting to see how skinny he is. Unbelievable, really.

At any rate, the flick ends up being, well, what most critics expect from an indie flick these days. It's very very atmospheric (cool), moody (cool), unpredictable (cool, until it gets boring in the 3rd act), and at the end of the day... Dare I say it? Pedestrian.

You ever notice that 99% of the identity loss movies these days end up being what you thought they would?

Overall, cool, but nothing original. Still, his best effort so far. Enjoyable, at any rate. I personally think Session 9 was pretty well done, and Anderson eclipses that with this movie.

7/10. Not bad, gets high marks for atmosphere.
