As long as the car's well-maintained. My 2001 Jeep Cherokee has 102,000 on the clock and runs like a trooper (no pun intended).
Having said that, if the vehicle isn't engineered to last (like Kias, which are one of the few throaway cars still on the market today), you'll be lucky to ever roll the odometer over on it. As other folks have said, look at the low, low price and be suspicious. There's a good reason *why* it's cheap.
