When I first got a SNES, my brother and I got two games: Super Mario World and Rival Turf. We got Rival Turf because it had a 2 player mode, something that Final Fight seriously lacked, and the game just happened to not suck. Hell, it rocked. Recently, I decided to go back and play it again, and it was still pretty damn enjoyable.

I had known that it had one sequel in the US (The Peace Keepers / Rushing Beat Shura) but I just now found out about the first sequel (Brawl Brothers / Rushing Beat Run) and I can't wait to fire that bad boy up in an emulator and play it. Hopefully I'll be able to get to the game store and pick up a copy as well to complete my collection.

This series has NEVER gotten the love it deserved :(
