So I'm reading over at Steam again, and I'm getting a bit confused. A long time ago, I bought the Game-of-the-Year bundle that included HL/TFC/OP4 (but not the one that included Blue Shift, it was announced right after I got my bundle.)

I finished HL, and I think I was close to finishing OP4, when when my HD died on me. I never ended up reinstalling the game since then, which was many years ago, and always meant to get back to playing it someday (I bought it mostly for TFC, and never once ended up playing it, as I got wrapped up in the main game.)

However, now I'm reading at the Steam Site that the old CD-Keys for the original HL games no longer work because they were based on WON which has been replaced by Steam? Or something to that effect...

So basically, I need to install Steam to run my old game software too now? And Blue Shift doesn't come with HL2 Silver, but I can use it if I go out and buy it, because it is usable as a mod, but only if I have a valid WON key for it?
