Yeah, it was just crazy being outside and seeing how frozen solid EVERYthing was. There was like 5 cm of ice around every branch on a bush, it made everything look like coral.

Yeah.. The PEOPLE could have handled it better. I had friends working at some of the places that were still open, and serving an angry flood of customers is not fun, especially when you're still getting paid minimum wage for it! Without all that power it's amazing how many people were still running around in their cars.

Probably grocery stores, hospitals, and pharmacies should be the only places open (if they have power). But on the other hand being in one of the few places with power and heat was not bad.

We were 2 weeks without power

I was so fucking bored I would go to sleep for days! I'd wake up, still feel tired, and be like "fuck it I'm going back to sleep"
