It's a lot of work, but you should cut the clip on the work sheet everytime there's a cut on the recording to be able to get rid of the transition frames ( like for instance, the two solitary frames of your aunt, i presume, after grandpa morty's entrance. )
I'm not sure how acurately you can set up the worksheet in WMM, but if you have the patience, you can find yourself a pirate of Adobe Premiere, which is quite user friendly and has a myriad of options and transitions ( that you should use sporadically ).
