Here's why:

1. Natural disaster vs. Terrorism.

2. While this is devastating, it's not even close to how devastating 9/11 was in comparison to other terrorist events. Now, this may or may not be the most accurate - death toll. If you look (thanks Roushi), 9/11 claimed more than 10 times the lives of any other single terrorist event. This latest earthquake/tsunami/flood/inept preparation won't touch any records.

That doesn't make it any less devastating (in fact, it's more), but this is a natural disaster vs THE worst terrorist event in history.

Not to mention how the media feeds the sheep and make you think that's what people are actually thinking about.
