I never really rent games anymore, (and never from Blockbuster to begin with), but THIS sounds interesting.

From the sounds of it, they've jacked up the price of rentals by two dollars - essentially tacking on the late fee to the original price, whether you're on time or not. So the people who DO bring their movies back, consistently on time, are being punished for the acts of those who don't.

And if I've rented a movie to watch it, you'd think that I've already decided I don't like it enough to buy it. Why else would I pay half the price of the movie if I'm going to buy it anyway?

I think they've decided that if you've kept the movie overdue, it's like you can't stop watching it. Actually, it's because I'm too fucking lazy to jump in the car and bring it back. Either that, or I keep forgetting to do it.
