Went on a PS2 ISO downloading rampage, I got:

Typing of the Dead
Ico
Viewtiful Joe 2
Ace Combat 5

and for Xbox I think I'll get the latest Prince of Persia game.

Screw you guys.

Subjectwas I the only guy who wasn't impressed by viewtiful joe? Reply to this message

I was gagging for a chance to play it, so when I finally made the investment I was all "yeah fucking yeah this is going to be good" then when I did play it I was monumentally un-inspired by it. The whole game seems to rely on the various Viewtiful modes whilst the level design is piss poor, I really wanted to like this game but was left feeling cold and alone. Jesus christ capcom, what happenned to you?

It's fun if you want mindless old school action but if you were expecting the next Treasure game (like I was) then you'd be disappointed. Still, I picked it up later and saw it wasn't all that bad, and was actually fun once you got far enough into it.

I don't know either. Their games used to be all fun: Duck Tales, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Mega Man, Code Name: Viper, Little Nemo, Strider...

Lately it's just been sequels that suck (MMX7) or new games that suck (PN03).

I just got the feeling whilst playing it that if it was released ten years ago on the snes with cel-shading swapped for pixellated sprites it would have passed by unnoticed. Bah, there'll never be another megaman 2.

Probably, but these days it's one of a kind and you take what you can get. It's a pretty good effort for these days, but definitely not the best ever. Even Astro Boy blows it away and reminds me more of Megaman...

Sadly I agree :(

If you wanted the soundtrack, you should have asked. I have it.

Also, the most recent Prince of Persia isn't nearly as good as Sands of Time or Beyond Good & Evil

Its got extras the Ntsc version doesnt (its on a DVD rather then a CD). Its also got a 60hz mode so no problem playing in on an Ntsc TV.

My memory cars was full so I didn't play past the part where I got the girl outta the cage, no music there.
