K: What sadly finally did in Karnak the Magnificent.

Though he went off the air in 92 I was happy to have seen a few of his shows at the very end. I was around 14 at the time and would fake being out and run the TV trying to catch the guy. I'd get caught a lot by my pain in the ass overprotective mother, but when I didn't it was a riot. Will be missed.

And also a special rot in hell to NBC for not honoring his wishes. Jay Leno sucks, he wanted Dave doing it and did to his dying day. Jay struggles and blows, Dave is effortless but hit and miss, and Carson was always on the ball - unmatched.
