Take2, based in New York, is the publisher of top-ranked football, basketball and hockey titles, as well as the top-selling video game, "Grand Theft Auto." The unrivaled development capabilities of its Visual Concepts and Kush studios now will be devoted to baseball video games against all viable platforms.

Kush Studios is based in Camarillo, California
Visual Concepts is based in SoCal as well.

So uh... I guess we'll learn to like....amercian...baseball....or something.

Though if they raise the prices of the games or screw them up because they don't need to innovate both due to the lack of competition, we'll learn to like Japanese baseball.

You must have forgotton the glory days of Baseball Stars or BaseWars. Not every sports game needs to have a license.

Ever play Deathrow on Xbox?

Though video games are now targetted at a wider market and those who remember such games are now few, and publisher loyalty and licenses are significant in persuading customers to make a purchase, but older franchises are too old to be considered well established these days.

Never played Deathrow...
