All the good developers of Castlevania have obviously moved to the portable games.

The ones responsible for the PS2 one had said earlier since the GBA ones were becoming so popular they would make a PS2 CV, and that the popularity of the 2D versions over the 3D versions would make them make the game 2D. I guess they lied, since this is their 2nd attempt on the PS2 alone at making a shitty 3D version. Like the N64 ones, I doubt the PS2 sequel will solve the problems of the first game.
