I know this guy that married a girl he met through one of those online dating sites. Both are (AFAIK last I heard) very happy.

Meh, why not. Back in the day I got a few dates from random contacts in ICQ (when it was small enough so you could sense the only ppl using it were not weirdos). Then I finally learned to do it in real life :-)
