That Yellow Bastard - Cheesy dialogue and bad acting mixed with people getting killed. First half was semi interesting, though a bit painful to watch because of the the insistance to match the frames of the original while the second half was just dull. Oh wow, more people dying gruesome deaths. That's interesting. 2/5
The Hard Goodbye: Kicked ass. Awesome pacing, direction, acting, effects, dialogue, etc. Rutger Hauer was a nice surprise, Elijah Wood was awesome (hey, he can do roles where he does more than just panic and cry!), Mickey Rourke was perfect etc etc etc. The whole movie should have been cut down to just this chapter and the scenes with "The Salesman" and then released direct to video. 5/5
The Big Fat Kill: Boring as shit. Pretty good acting for the most part, but it just dragged........and dragged....... At least it had the one funny moment of the movie in it (and god damn was it funny). 2/5
All in all, it really showed the dangers of following source material too close. Visually stunning film, though. Pretty nice soundtrack, too.
