If PS2 games are cookie cutter, then X-Box games are cookie-cutter knockoffs. GameCube has its first party titles, but other than that the PS2 has a near monopoly on talent. Important games like Devil May Cry, Suikoden, Xenosaga, Final Fantasy, Megaman, Metal Gear Solid, Ape Escape, Grand Theft Auto, Castlevania, Contra, Wipeout, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, R-Type, Gradius, Tekken, Virtua Fighter, Katamari Damashii, and now Soul Calibur, are almost all exclusives on PS2 and still has all of the important 3rd party cross-platform games. There's just more to miss on the PS2 than the other consoles... There's more creativity and gameplay in Katamari, Virtua Fighter, Wipeout, and San Andreas (well, at least content in that case) to busy myself with than on the other consoles, and RE4 is making it to PS2 as well
> Selling it was the greatest > pleasure I ever received from the console :(
I guess I'm just the other way around...
