you can be fading out
and pulled apart
or been in love
every single memory of
could have been faces of love
don't lose any sleep tonight
i'm sure everything will end up alright
you may win love

but to be yourself is all that you can doooooooooooooooo
to be yourself is all that you can dooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo

I liked the first album, I really did - but what the fuck is this? Audioslave is trying to write the next teen anthem?

*turns head and spits*

I liked Chris in Soundgarden. He sucks now. Rage sucks now too.

not that i'd listen to that again if given the chance. sounds optimistic, lyrically, but i imagine the music kinda creates a bizarre paradox. i dig the polyphonic spree because i'm a massive hippyfag, but this stuff from audioslave is just sick and wrong.

loved rage, soundgarden were good. audioslave weren't a threat, just another pop band, until they totally fucked up that scene in collateral, with the wolf. that was hilariously bad timing, and mann generally has great taste in the music he adds to his films.. a goddamned shame.
