I just picked up Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 3, and Secret of Mana SNES carts for $45 TOTAL(shipping and all) with plastic sheaths. Found a sympathetic ear and some dude just sold that package to me. That shit sells for $50-60 a piece on Ebay WIHOUT shipping. The guy just didn't care about carts anymore. He has his roms and he's happy. Cool with me =) Now I own a piece of history.

I could care less about having NES, SNES, Playstation, etc games in their
original cart/CD form, though the thought of collecting Atari 2600, Astrocade,
Colecovision, etc games does catch my interest. The pre-1984 systems and
games were the ones I played during my formative (read: teenage) years.

Having the ROMs of the more current games more than satisfies me. Hehe,
until I finish paying for school and my car I think only having ROMs for the
old systems will have to make do as well.

I'm STILL Rick James, bitch

then it's roushi-style :)

Nice deal there, man. I never bothered buying Secret of Mana since I don't much care for the game (or series), but Final Fantasy 3 and Chrono Trigger are absolute 100% classics.

In other news, I picked up Harvest Moon It's A Wonderful Life for Gamecube and Harvest Moon Save the Homeland for PS2.

Oh Roushi I visted you BX today and found it a pretty interesting experience. No tax rocks.

When I did a weekend in California a couple weeks ago I went back to my old video game store stomping grounds and came out with some goodies...got a deal too since the owner is a friend. Paid $50...got 6 NES games, 1 N64, and 1 GBA (Not pictured... Banjo Kazooie for my fiance.) The boxed NES games are complete except Batman, the non-boxed are all alone except Bombjack which comes with the old game poster. And then Nightmare Creatures was/is basically new in box, but box got a lil mooshed in transit home sadly.

Also...did a 4 game trade-in at lamestop, morons had this deal to double my value if I used this coupon in Game Misinformer magazine...so I took that. Ended up getting these 2 DS games for FREE!

Sorry don't want to part with it as I hadn't seen a copy of it in a long time either. He was surprised he had the game as he rarely had got it there too. Must had come in in the last 2 1/2 years as I would have nabbed it before I moved.
