The HD is something I'd like to have. I've played GT4 in 480i and then in 1080i and there is quite a difference. There aren't any problems with slow down either as you seem to suggest. So I think you're full of shit on you're HD rant.

The ethernet. Lots of people use wired ethernet networks in their house, and they don't want to shell out a ton of cash for a wifi network.

There are things that I like about the revolution. It looks good, its backward compatible with Gamecube, and I like that they're focussing on making it a gaming system rather then some multimedia bullshit. Honestly though, I think this is going to be Nintendo's last console. There isn't anything stellar about the new console. It looks like it's going to have the least power (blah blah, nintendo is being conservative, whatever), they're probably going to charge money for the old games you can download. And keep in mind, these are the fucks that wanted you to pay $20 to play Excitebike on Gameboy Advance. The controllers are probably going to be some crazy shit like N64 and gamecube; meanwhile you can plug any USB controller into the PS3 and use it. No one seems to be interested in it. All people talk about is PS3 vs XB360.
