I still say C&C Gold(or even DOS original) was still the best made and best balanced fairness wise in combat between teams of any of the versions of the game. Started with perfection and went down from there. The underground and invincibility cloak in the first C&CRA really ruined the fun of that sucker. Never could get why when a nuclear reactor was being setup for a detonation near my home that i'd just send in a spy, medic, and 3 morons against a platoon with a few tanks, flame throwers and the rest. Bad design. And don't et anyone started on that atrocity which was Tiberan Sun.
