SubjectWHAT THE FUCK GAS PRICE RANT. Reply to this message

Driving to work this morning, gas is at $1.02 a litre. Heading to the bank on my lunch break, gas still at $1.02 a litre, with an enormous lineup of cars wrapping around the block. I wonder if the power went out again.

I stop in the bank, take care of stuff, and head back to work, gas has LEAPED to $1.19. Fucking incredible. I didn't realize they could even DO that - change the price in the middle of the day like that...

I filled up yesterday, I guess I'll take it easy on the driving...

Subjectit's been over 1.10 for weeks over here -nt- new Reply to this message

I don't know about where you live but where I am they change the price about 4 times a day at 6am, 12pm, 6pm, and 12am. Aren't the prices going to sky-rocket because of the hurricain taking 25% of the US oil production?

Check out shells website for info on when to buy, they usually tell you when it's about to go up and have the prices of all their stations.

We got what was left of the hurricane here today, strong winds, rained like hell... well at least for us, 2 inches of rain in a few hours isn't as bad as new orleans that's for sure, but still, a friend of mine got his basement full of water because of this shit. We had rain for the last 2 days, and what's funny is that there were baseball games both of these days. I had a ticket for tonight's game, so instead I'll go tomorrow, hum, which is today now, thursday, and they'll play 3 games. Too bad we'll get there only for the last game, they start right in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, sigh.

Anyway, the experts said to expect another raise in the prices, it might get as high at 1.50$ on friday, a whole dollar more expensive than 2 years ago. Total rip off, blame the hurricane eh? Well when it was 1.10$ what did we have do blame, the motherfucking lack of hurricane? Urgh... oil ain't gonna be there forever that's for sure. I like walking but our 6 hours drive trip this weekend will cost 45$ for a damn hyundai accent.
