I've been putting off PC upgrades for a LONG time. So I finally had some money to blow on parts and I upgraded, these are my new parts:

ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard (base model with onboard LAN/audio)
Athlon 64 3200+ Venice CPU
1GB RAM (2×512MB) OCZ Copper 2-3-3-6 (was trying to save money, at least it's CAS2!)
eVGA GeForce 6600GT PCI-Express 128MB card (inexpensive, I figure I'll add another to SLI when I can get it CHEAP)

The rest of the junk I have will remain:
400 watt PS
Pioneer DVR-109 DL DVD burner
120GB WD 8MB cache IDE
250GB WD 8MB cache IDE

I bought the stuff from monarchcomputer.com. They've got pretty good prices and shipping is actually pretty good. I actually paid for ground 3-5 day shipping but they upped me to FedEx 2-day, doesn't matter though since they're in GA and I'm just one state over. I was about to buy from newegg.com but they charge TN sales tax (9.75%) so they can blow me.

It'll be nice to get back to playing some current PC games.

I was going to buy a great new graphics card but then I looked at all the games. The fuck with wasting my money.
