Strangely enough, I'm playing Ultima V.

I'm STILL Rick James, bitch

I also squeek in games of Outrun 2 on the ol' Xbox when I can.

Once I finish all of these Armored Core games, I'm totally diving head first into Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, though. Played the first part of the game and can't wait to really sink my teeth into it.

I think I'm going to stop playing Armored Core at Nexus (unless Last Raven comes out in the US). Nine Breaker doesn't do anything for me mainly because I find the arena combat to be the weakest portion of the game...it's not bad, but I really prefer the actual missions (storyline or no storyline, i like defending trains, assaulting hidden bases, doing recon work, etc)

I spent hundreds of hours playing Ultima 5 on the C64. Definitely one of the most immersive gaming experiences of my life.

Even with the simple tile system there was so much exploring to be done. And the Shadowlords used to scare the shit out of me. "The air of cowardice doth surround thee".

I'm really looking forward to playing Lazarus. The U5 remake with a dungeon siege engine.

Got AOE 3 the other ady, started playing and levelling up Portuguese colonizers.
I'm almost finishing Warhammer 40000 DoW Winter Assault, only 1 mission left for the Ork.
I'm playing Half Life 2 very sporadically, i can't seem to get into the game, it just doesn't pull me into it.
Started up Ultimate Spiderman, but then focused more on Winter Assault and AOE 3.
I boot Sims 2 every once in a while to mess with my virtual family (me and my girl, trying to have a kid).

And after all that is done, i still got plenty to play through...

Fable The lost Chapters
Planescape Torment
Chronicles of Riddick
X-Men legends 2
D&D Dragonshard
MegaMan X8
Megaman Zero 4
Codename Panzers Phase 2

And there might be more i'm forgetting. Damn, i can't wait for this semester in college to end. Planning my Course Completion Paper is a bitch.

The Master would not approve of this sig.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

As if the normal game wasn't better than SOTN as is, that Julius Mode is a retrogamers wet dream. Basically it's an unofficial sequel to Castlevania 3 in gameplay style. Play as the Belmont, you can swap out to the Belnades (magician) ancestor, and to Alucard as well. Each of them have their original abilities from the old NES title too. Game is fuckin hard as it was designed for Soma on the first play, and better yet the plot is changed as it's a part 2 of the normal game as you go to kill Soma's ass as he's become possessed by Dracula...so Drac does make a real appearance in the game.

SubjectDeus Ex, Gunbound new Reply to this message

I started playing through Deus Ex again hoping to go on a different path. I started doing things differently by spending some points on rifles, which I soon found out are the fucking bomb. First time I went through I was a grand master pistol dude. Was using it like a sniper rifle. Rifles are cooler though. I was dissapointed though that when you hit a certain turning point in the game, I wasn't able to take the path I wanted to (killing JCs brother and then going to hong kong and killing tracer tong). Instead, it forced me on the path that I went through the first time (rebellion, bitch). So I started another game and tried doing everything non-lethal like Paul wants you to do, which is kind of fun and it gets you some different dialogue.

Gunbound I started playing again. It kinda hooked me. Pisses me off that they only have two avatar off servers though and they are rank limited. The lag bouts still happen sometimes, but not as often thankfully. Korea just can't make good shit, it has to be fucked up somehow. Their cars, their electronics, their games...

Oh, and if anyone wants to play Gunbound with me, add "miyumii" to your buddy list.

Also I played through Need For Speed Underground 2 recently. I had a kick ass AE86 Corolla GTS, like what Trizae got except with the pop up leadlights. It was my first car and I played through the whole game with it; I didn't have to switch cars to do anything except the drag races. It just has fucking awesome handling. I might play through again using some different cars. Btw, the end guy in the GTO fucking sucks. By the time it was all over he wasn't even on my radar. Blazed his ass.

Haven't seen an emu capable of running it, well except for ideas, but the new version isn't out yet. And fuck the saitek pad, it's collecting dust now, I have my xbox controller plugged on my pc <3

Playing a ninja with just the baton and knock out darts is so fucking fun in that game.

Also, Rifles are so unbalanced since they also include the shotguns, which are mad awesome.

But I can't stand playing anything on the DS other than Nintendogs. I'll just wait a few years until the game is emulated or something.

now Trauma Center, on the other hand...there's a game I'm sure I could play just dandy

Whoops, I got Dawn of Sorrow (NDS) confused with Aria of Sorrow (GBA). My bad.

Doesn't run. At least not in game, just the really sweet anime style opening movie + displays the menus in that shitty apparance in those pictures...very slowly and buggily too (in both cases.)
