You know I have always wanted a reason for that level of incompetence and stupidity. I should take this over to the game site I work for on the boards I admin and see if I can find a moron to report back to you here with.
I find people who toss out all that stuff and just keep the game in a sleeve/drawer whatever to be complete slobbish assholes. I mean those parts of the package are nearly as important as the game itself. You may forget a move or need to know something of the game, manual has it. And like you finish the game, then what? Pray it don't get damaged or lost like a moron? Just keep the damn box and put it in a larger box or on a shelf all nice and pretty. I mean it's really common sense. I for one keep since the disc generation the case+manual, before that I would keep the dust clip + manual, and even with used stuff almost never will I get a game at all unless it at least has the dust jacket (say for hard to get NES titles.)
