Just to name a few. Narnia was unforgivable and you should repent for such treasonous sins. If you like Narnia then the terrorists win.

I enjoyed the books, and enjoyed the movie. It was a fantasy romp and fun to watch. If y'all were looking for a deep plot and oscar winning performances than y'all should've went to see Syriana...poop on my stick...UNF.

Arrested Development gets extremely shitty ratings and the most exposure most people have to it is seeing the dvd sets for sale in the store.

The second season was doing so bad that they cut it back from 22 to 18 episodes, and this season is doing so bad that they've cut it back to 13 episodes.

Blame Fox's retarded marketing division for being unable to promote or sell an emmy award winning show.

Also, according to Joffe, since I like the show then it can be assumed to be pure shit.

and yes, it won a fucking emmy. it's popular by my elitist definition. the only stuff that's broadcast on US or UK television that i think could be considered obscure are certain late night infomercials and public access programming. otherwise, we're talking popular culture, and most of it sucks, like friends and casablanca.

What was up with the wolf's voice? I was convinced it was Jason "how-do-I-keep-getting-cast-in-films" Statham attempting an American accent again (see Ghosts of Mars ... *shudder*)

Film kinda sucked for me overall - there were bits I remember being really cosy from the book (tea with Tumnus, dinner in the dam, breakfast with the bearded St Nick) that either weren't there, or weren't cosy.
My friends all liked it though.
