<< If you have a DVI output and a beast of a machine that can run everything you want to play at the native resolution of the monitor, by all means get an ultra-quick response time (<8ms) LCD.
If you want to play lots of low resolution stuff/stuff that's not 5:4 (emulated games)/etc, stick with an LCD. I picked up my 19" P95f+ from Viewsonic directly for like $165 shipped or some such. A+++ would do buisness again. >>
i was looking at a Viewsonic A91f+, i think it might be the same model as yours actually, for $227 CAN. the specs sound right and the features're pretty good for the price range (ie: nearly $150 less than an LCD)
the computer this is going to be hooked up to is 2ish and a half years old -- geforce4/2 ghz pentium 4/512 RAM; i don't play PC games much anymore either.
the fixed resolution LCD thing is one of the biggest drawbacks, i don't like the idea of being tied to one setting which the computer might or might not support under different programs and things..
