Looks like GQD was behind the recent reprints.

The paragraph about the pissed-off "hardcore collectors" made me lmao. I'm glad these titles are being given a second chance. Picked up Gitaroo Man last month and will likely grab Rez soon. No more $100 used on ebay bullshit...

and I love their stance on $100+ ebay games. I'm going to cut out the middle man and order directly from them on all of their reprints from now on.

Fuck anyone that hates on them. Buncha cocksucking haters.

Now this is a niche market player that I can live with, RIP Working Designs. If only they went back in time and started doing this in the 90s, so Radiant Silvergun would be brought down.

EDIT: After reading the whole article, that seems like it's a possibility.

Working Designs was all about living the fanboi dream. If they did Radiant Silvergun, it would have had a stupidly flashy cover with lots of glittery pink on it, the voice dubbing would have been laughable, it would have contained references to Friends, Bad Boys, and Star Trek, and they would have altered the entire leveling up system like they did with Silhouette Mirage.

In contrast, GQD is just commissioning additional print runs of games from the companies. It's extremely unlikely that they'll acquire a license to distribute a game not released in the US in the first place, translate it, and then distribute it.

I see your point, but I assumed they were just trying to rectify the whole "OMG 200 dollars LOL!" syndrome. If that's the case, they REALLY need a reprint of Panzer Dragoon Saga. I've actually seen auctions for ONE DISK that ran almost 50 bucks.
