I think i will go away from town a couple of days with some friends, and the only console we can take it with us is a PSOne (we might end up scoring a PSII, but not sure).

And as usual from our trips (that includes a little gaming) we will play some serious round of SF. I have the SF Collection, but i want to take something from the Zero/Alpha series. But i never played them on PS1, only on Saturn, so, which one is the best, and who can lend tib here a image ?

Is it Street Fighter collection you have ?, if so thats Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha. Its the same as the Cps2 version I helped donate except theres no drammatic battle mode, but Shin Gouki is playable (think you press start 5 times to pick him) and Cammy from X-Men vs Street Fighter is in it (cant remember how you unlock her, check Gamefaqs, you can only use her in versus and practice though). Also, with both the console and Cps2 versions there are a couple of extra's compared to regular Zero 2, Like Dhalsim and Guy having an extra super and being able to use the championship edition versions of some characters (cant do supers or custom combo's but are way stronger in every other department).

Id go for Zero 3 though, the only thing Zero 2 has over it is different backgrounds/music and the ability to use supers and custom combo's at the same time (though Custom Combo's in Zero 2 are totally different/crap compared to Zero 3). The Psx port of Zero 3 is fine, its missing a few frames though its barely noticable. Zero 3 has an assload more characters, plus its got Drammatic battle (if somewhat limited).

Ive only got the Pal versions of both games so I cant help you out, sorry.

I loved both of them quite a bit. Zero 2 dash or whatever it was called was good fun, but I never put as much time into it as I did Alpha 2 (mainly because I had more or less played the game out by that point and just bought the SFCollection for shits n grins), but I thought it was a really nice port all over.

SFZ3 was good too, though the sprites were resized and some frames were cut. Again, didn't dump as much time into it as Alpha 2, but that may have something to do with there being too damn many pointless options for each character. Like anything other than Z-ism for Fei Long, for example :(

I played the shit out of SFA2 but then SFA34 came along with about 10 billion more options than I ever cared to try out and then I had a bitch of a time ever getting anyone to play me as every time you start a match you have to fill out a fucking questionaire of abilities that may or may not end up fucking you hard in the ass. Sure for the SF fruits that wanted options like how Chun Li trimmed her twat it was a cum covered wet dream but for the rest of us homosapiens we usually just gave the fuck up and tossed SFA2 in and said "fuck it".

i agreea bout the zillion options and shit, but since there will be more than 5 people playing, i thought sfa3 because of the number of characters to play.

But it didnīt crossed my mind the whole a/z/v-ism shit and more.

Oh and the collection i have is the "classic collection" (i think the name is "Capcom Collection", it has SSF2, SF2'CE, and SF2, i think. Something like that. (It may be a pirated game only, my copy sure is pirate.)

And yeah, i agree with both of you, sfa2 is one of the best sf of all time (along with sf2'ce). I have the saturn version of sfa2, pretty close to the arcade.
