The lack of bandwidth limits is to stop people from leeching. A lot of hubs will kick you if you use a DC++ client with bandwidth control. I just limit the number of slots I have to 2, use a 'small send buffer' and lower the priority in windows to 'Below Normal' and that gets rid of any problems I have with DC++.
