IQ test earlier, I wonder what's the logic behind some...Stupid want's to know! (well, stupid at these)

1.juice-egg-steak-salad-cheese
juice because it's drink, right...

2.milkshake-juice-gin-whiskey-milk
Milkshake because it's 2 ingredients?
Juice because liquor and milk pairs?

3.airplane-car-bus-train-steamboat
airplane because it is not travelling on solid, if water can be described one?
Car, because it's not mass transportation(but taxi...)?
steamboat, because it's old/wood(nah, could be be new, metal)?

4.think-speak-write-call-listen
write because other are realated to head?(if call means only speaking to the phone)
listen, because it's passive, and not "doing"?

[5.Jakarta-teheran-madrid-havana-munich
Well, this was very clear, for once. Did someone miss this? :) ]

6. 32, 36, 9, 12, 4, 6, ?
Right answer was 3(which I got right), but still not sure of the logic...fuck.

7. LIGARAE
options were city, country, animal, plant I think. I'm not English and found this tough, got rest similar cases though.

Thanks for answers, or guesses. No shame for wrong answers, I got 130

P.S. Was thinking that carpool thing: Shouldn't they split 25%-75% gas, BUT split car rent 50-50...If you think that normally car rent is fixed(days)and doesn't depend how long(distance)they drive. Then it really should not matter where the chick was picked from and where to.

At last page there was that overlapping shapes thing, and right answer was 2 triangels not overlapping. Then again it could have been right because that was the only one not having 3 segments. But you could ask, why weren't the circles the answer, because other shapes were triangles and squares(Because it was supposed to be a group of 4 and not a group of 2x2) I hate idiotic tests that don't give answers.

Right.

My thoughts were juice, gin, whiskey and milk are all free-flowing, while a milkshake is stiff.

Car, not mass transport (this one threw me, too... I thought, "Airplane flies, while the others are all surface transport"; then "Steamboat is water transport, the others all go through air... no, that's stupid..."

Think; the others are all descriptive of communication activities, while thinking is not a way of communicating with others.

At first. :^) Then I remembered that Jakarta was a capital...

32 + 4 = 36
36 / 4 = 9
9 + 3 = 12
12 / 3 = 4
4 + 2 = 6
6 / 2 = 3

(The next two in the series would be 3 + 1 = 4, 4 / 1 = 4)

Algeria (country in North Africa)

I think (could be wrong on this, so don't quote me) that a real IQ test actually hands out partial credit on some questions, so you might get a half point for the circles.

I said you guys are clever. (Although posts don't allways show it! ;) )

Well, why not. I'd still go with 2 stuffs interprt. What hell, same result.

I think usual thought is that other go on earth roundish surface, while aeroplane, yeah, it flies! That's different, wow!
Car; well you can fit few people in a taxi.
Bus is a car.
You can have private airplanes etc.
Still not so convinced about this, I think this is not very good question.

Yes, that's it. I must be too ego centric, but who wouldn't. You, wildcat, you! ;)

Same way for me. Aceh distracted a bit.
First I started thinking about continents, nah
religions, nah makes no sense.
Good question because it's clear, bad because it tests knowledge too.

I can see the light!
Hell, that wasn't so hard after all, was distracted by 6^2=36
4*9=36
guess I was thinking chinese. A bit disappointing not to get it. Sometimes you just lock into a solution and are blind to others.

Now it's simple when you say it.
These are the ones you just see immediately, or are trapped into trying different combinations. I was thinkin if gilarae is an animal, Is it? ;)
Didn't give much thought for it starting with a.

Other interesting ones were the one as:
light-window to air-wind/breath
(breath)
I think instinct answer would be wind. but is it really so that wind goes through air...physics.
breath because function of window(sux)is to let light in as for breath to let air in. Playing with words a bit question.

That cc, dd, ee...ff -was most satisfying to solve.
Those all blips are blaps, some blops are blaps, therefore -are just plain brap.
