I played the PC port of Megaman X8 and while I've never played the original version, the PC version seemed really well done. The graphics were nice, sound good, control good (I used a PS2 USB adapter). Hopefully, though, they port at least the GC graphics. I doubt they'll improve textures just for the PC but I think if they just port the GC version they can let modern video cards do the rest (FSAA, filtering, etc).
