Ok I've seen you guys talk about this before so I thought you could lit my lantern here. Let's say I wanna put an ide hd in my ps2, everyone says you need a network adapter. Ok you can ftp to it that way, that's fine, but the ide connector, is it on the network adapter? Seems like I can't find info on that other purpose the adapter has.

Also, ok I need hd loader once I get an hd in there but since my ps2 already has a chip in it, I just could pop a copy of that disc eh? I guess you need to boot with that disc everytime you want to play a game on the hd right? Thank god the xbox ain't like that. If the xbox dvd rom fails in the future, I could always run games from the hd without the need of a disc.

Got a few games now. I'm addicted to both Katamari Damacy games. I rolled both the king of cosmos and the queen yesterday, yay!
