I dunno... I'd still wait. Famitsu in recent years have been a bit too hot and horny to give out high scores and perfects. Nintendogs for one is not worth straight 10's let alone straight 8's (they gave it all 10s) so I can't agree with buying their opinions anymore. They seem to let crazy ideas or fanboyism run a bit into their minds more than they did like 10years ago.

You may as well blindly follow Gamepro while you're at it. I have no idea why people put so much stock into Famitsu reviews. InsertCredit wrote a funny about it though:

I only saw the first 20 games. It's funny to see that ff6 ain't there, it's so overrated.

Gamepro is horrible, I was tricked into subscribing to Gamepro when I was young. I reread those magizine a couple of years ago and I can't believe the crap that gets printed on that mag.

FFVI was number 25....that list is 90% RPGs. FFX as NUMBER ONE, that's absurd.
