Ok, so Opera is acting moronic now.
I had to re-format and re-install my C: drive and windows again because my second drive (SATA) was acting weird and hanging everything, but after this new re-install Opera decided to be a moron.
Here's the thing, i can't set the stupid thing to handle/associate with the file types and etc. i want it to, and i can't set it as my default browser, everytime it asks me that on startup, if i say yes, the Opera process hangs in the task manager and does nothing, if i press no, it works fine. If i try to associate files with it from Opera's config, it hangs the program.

Someone help me smack some sense into this thing, it's annoying me.
Edit: Now i fix part of it by associating the files through the explorer menus, but the localhost .hmt and .html extensions are fucked up and give out an error everytime i run them locally.

And also, other than checkdisk, what else can i use to detect and isolate faulty sectors in a HD, i don't want to have anymore shit from this SATA.

All work and no play makes me..., well, you know the rest.
