It was total in northern Africa. In Brazil: hard to say, 'cause the narrow corridor of totality barely touches your country, but even so it should have been quite a show.

According to this page http://www.exploratorium.edu/eclipse/future.html the next closest to you will be in 2019, but not your country. America will be blessed with a total in 2017.
