i used to go the movies a lot (there was a time, when i went 2 times A WEEK. (Sunday nights and Tuesday's noon (which i had no classes)). Nowdays its once a month, barely. There is SOOO MUCH shittastic movies, that aren't ticket worthy (maybe if there was a option to get 75% off, i might see them on the big screen).
Also, tickets price seems to be skyrocketing and i don't see the theathers getting any better.
About candy/sodas/etc, i usually smuggle them into the theathers aswell. Gladly my girlfriend agrees with me, so, unless its pop-corn (which its better fresh) we smuggle in our own sodas (cans) and candies.
SOO much cheaper (for the EXACT same product!).
But yeah, i agree with everyone else too. fuck those movies. DVDs anyday, these days.
