Aight inlight of the new June PS1 Month, My PSX style usb pad has crapped it so I'm in the look out for a USB controller option I have 2 options either look for a high quality usb gamepad with all the features I want (basically dual analogue/force feedback etc) or go the ps2 adapter route (but i'd rather use that for the ps2 itself even though everything runs through my pc) how are these controllers? i've read their quality is pretty good? I'm mainly conscerned in how the D-Pad is (my psx style controller had some slight issues with going diagonal for QCB manouvers?) Any info would be greatly appreciated and impressions etc thnx guys :)

I have my xbox1 controller plugged on my pc. It doesn't get any better for me, I just love the controller, and don't worry about the dpad, it's great. IMO, the xbox had the only decent dpad in it's generation of consoles.

The xbox 360 controller is just like the xbox 1 controller, except for that ring in the middle, digital buttons instead of analog and the shoulder triggers springs are smoother. I wish the 360 controller would work on the xbox 1, I just love those triggers. I modified one of my controllers, changed the spring in it so now it's smooth like a 360 controller.

Oh and I think with the driver for the xbox 1 controller I can put the dpad as the pad, not the hat switch.
