I managed to play some good rounds against the cpu. The game has a good flow. But it seems like attack is usually the best defense. I still donīt know most of the characters, so i found easier to beat Ken and Akuma (playing as Ryu) as opposed to say.. Elena and Yun.
What iīve realized playing the game, is that Ryu has almost no usable superart. Shinku-Hadouken is only useful as a combo. Shinku-Shouryuken is almost unusable, because it has low range, a long recover time and not so much damage, and the 3rd one, is pretty much a wrong shinku-hadouken.
Ken is pretty good, but i am used to use the H.Kick has a counter for jumping kicks, and its not working with Ken, but his Shoryureppa, Shinryuken and his 3rd one, i donīt remember the name, are all good superarts and can deal a lot of damage.
Chun-li rocks in this game.
Also, aparentely the game is more focused on combos than on defense (besides parrying), which makes fireballs not a requisite to play well. (And ever since SF2, i play based on fireballs to attract the oponent close so i can put in a combo or a supercombo.
Well, i will try to take all your advices in tonight, and see what i can do.
I still havenīt managed to finish the game. I got as far as Gill, but i lost to him (quite closely, may i add) but i still have a long way to go.
thanks so far, and keep the advices coming.
