It tells me that "Sutton Rules". Sutton is the semi-shitty little town I live in, part of Greater London. I've no idea how that works!

It's not javascript - they're using a Perl script. It must be picking something up from the HTTP header


(Edit) Maybe they're using something like this. It shows my city as Sutton, even if the Region is way off.

It just looks up your ip or whatever. Mine is definitely Toronto - despite me living 2 1/2 hours NORTH of TO. Not the first time that's happened - some of them can nail even closer, but sometimes they put really small towns nearby. They've never gotten my hometown.
