Meh. The CGI rendered cust scenes are gorgeous but it does little to make up for a brutally linear game. You can't interact with the environment at all so it's like barrels and chairs are made of adamantium. You can occasionally shatter a window. The action is terrible for a game made in 2006. You run and you strafe. You can't dogdge, you can't flip, you can't parry or do anything else than run and strafe. In some of the in-game cut scenes you do these really cool moves that would have been better had you actually been able to do them while controlling the action. It's like the polar opposite of God of War which is a game that gives you every cool move in the book and any of a billion ways to execute them in combos.

You get a very small roster of weapons that you can upgrade. The objectives are lame and the whole game design is just lame. The graphics try their best to be 60fps and succeeds until the action kicks up.

So anyways, fuck this game. This is total fanboy material with zero substance and a game engine that was sub par in 1998. It's boring, repetitive and utterly mind numbing. If you can find a way to rip the movies off of it then power to you and let me know where I can download them. It's probably the only reason to play. All I can say is thank god I rented this shit. I rented Ninja Gaiden too so at least I have backup.
