I've been avoiding Sony since the MD and PSX days... those were the last products anybody in my vicinity bought. The rest were already bogged with proprietary crap that is only found on Sony stuff (Memory Stick).

Then there was the story of the rootkit, then the pyromaniac laptop batteries.

Now this.

I'm not buying a PS3. No big deal, don't even have a PS2...

R.I.P. LikSang. I've only bought once or twice from them, but it was a good site with lots of useful info. I liked the photoshoots they did by taking apart new consoles to show what's inside...
