I've long ago decided to get a Wii only on the basis that it's the cheapest of the three. I'll wait a few months that the prices goes down though, and that a few games are known to be good. Same reasons I've got a GC, actually...

While I'm not planning on buying any new systems, of the latest round, the Wii is the best. You are missing the point of where gaming is going. It's about being part of the games and Nintendo knows this. It will be Sony that will lose this time. I don't believe we will see a PS4.

You can pre-order online in the UK ... I tried a pre-order at Play.com, but apparently they're only getting 700 units and have 3000 ordered, so I won't get one until Christmas. Also had a preorder at HMV, but then I lost my credit cards so had to cancel. Now I have one preordered at my local Currys (I fucking hate them, but they claim I'm 5th on the list).
I've also ordered 3 extra controllers (nunchuks and remotes) and about 6 games...

My favourite games are party games - and it looks like the Wii will be the shizzle for those. Plus Zelda and Red Steel look like fun.
