check it out here. The 7600 GS and 7800 GS are both clocked similarly (depends on manufacturer) but the 7600GS has two things against it. It only has a 128-bit memory interface while the 7800GS uses a 256-bit interface and the 7600GS only has 12 pipelines while the 7800GS uses 16 pipelines. But the 7800GS costs a lot more, so its a fairly even trade off.

I've been thinking of upgrading my ATI 9600 Pro (AGP) to something better. The 1650 Pro is the best one available for AGP at the moment, apparently, so I would go with that if there's nothing else...
