Despite the pouring rain, he did it without a hitch. I think the rain was actually appropriate for "Purple Rain". And that pyro!

Is Prince still a mainstream act? I am not trying to dog him, I am just legit curious. When was his last album?

And am I the only one having a hard time with all the icons of our youth botoxing themselves to the point of non-recognition? He looked porcelain. Just age naturally man, you look great for 40 or 45, whatever you are.

Up until recently he was knocking on doors. That was probably the first venue he played in a while.

Not quite. He's not on all the front pages, but "Prince grossed $87.4 million on the North American concert circuit in 2004, topping concert industry trade publication Pollstar's list of the year's top-earning tours."

Trust me. The man plays all the damned time...

That's cool. I haven't heard anything for a while about him. I'm glad he's still working. but I was surprised to see him do covers at the half time show.
