Man, you know it's gonna be good. Crytek really nailed it with Far Cry and everything they've released on Crysis indicates that it'll be even better.

...shit, I'm due for another playthrough of Far Cry sometime soon, too. I fucking LOVE that game.

I had some hardware problems back when i tried, so i never really got into it. I always think, "damn, i should really play that game to the fullest", but then i remember the little i did get to play and one thing makes me say "oh fuck that shit". Trigens.
Motherfucking Trigens. I only got as far as the treehouse level where you first face the fuckers, and their cheapness coupled with my hardware issues totally put me off from playing it.

I still owe it to myself to play it and nuke those damn beasts for honor's sake. One of these days... one of these days...

Those suckers drop pretty easy if you just go for the headshots. They can absorb an insane amount of body shots, but you can drop 'em with just 2 or 3 shots to the head. As long as you use some cover and aim for the head, they won't pose much of a problem at all :)

trackball mouse. :-)

God, the pain of playing an FPS without an optic mouse is excruciating. :-D

Plus, having 512mb of ram and a jerky framerate couldn't have helped my aim any either. :-D

Hmm, damn, i'm getting the itch to play this fucker again now.

I finally got into Titan Quest, and loved it- but the last boss, or next to last one (the one that looks like Azrael from Soul Reaver a bit) how did you beat him? He sucks your life and seems invincible...

That is amazing. I upgraded my last machine to play Farcry and HL2 to the fullest. GeForce 6800GT, 2gb ram, etc and it ran perfect. I couldn't imagine the specs to get that badboy run smooth. If you watch that level editing part in the vid, it's a bit choppy. I loved the blast effects at the end. Games are getting so real. Crazy
