Reading audiophile forums and sites is some painful shit.
---quote--- Directionality: All cables are directional, from hardware store electrical cable to the finest pure silver cables. All AudioQuest cables are marked for direction. With other cables it might be necessary to simply listen to the cables in one direction and then the other. The difference will be clear-in the correct direction the music is more relaxed, pleasant and believable. While cable directionality is not fully understood, it is clear that the molecular structure of drawn metal is not symmetrical, providing a physical explanation for the existence of directionality. ---quote---
Are they trying to say AC current is directional? WTF?
---quote--- OptiLink 1 uses a low-loss low-jitter synthetic fiber, a precision machined termination (to minimize dispersion and reflections), a brass ferrule plug, correct cladding (the fiber’s intimate covering), and effective mechanical damping (cushioning for the fiber). The result is low distortion and better sound from this reliable cable. ---quote---
They have a low distortion optical fibre cable too. If only they had a device that could remove the snow effect from my Digital TV signal.

I understand these guy are trying to sell something but the amount of bullshit they spew forth is unbelievable. What's worse is the amount of people that believe this crap on forums and believe that cables need burn in periods to align electrons and other bullshit.
Some of the speaker cable they sell for $2 800 per 3ft pair. That's the equivalent of 19 trips to good quality brothel!
