Dum dum dummmm...
We take you back a 10-20 years ago, constant hits, good policy, and were great at bringing out nearly all their heavy hitters to every region. Sure there were a few and they were cheap on batteries vs password, but people didn't know or care in that day and all was well. A ripple flew through the office one by one, staff leaving which made many of their greats to form new companies like Treasure. A fearful Konami becoming now so scared they just cared about finding less to do that was more safe and more profit friendly. Paranoia increases and games suddenly like some lame god complex would only pop up to one format, perhaps at times crippled or remixed in some evil way. Fans started to run for the hills, DDR nuts were satisfied, but fans of the rest saw their favorites either not come back, or did in shittier watered down versions that had the look but none of the fun. 3D came along, Konami proving total ineptness with it ruining many of their greats adding more gas to the fire. As it stands now this old gal is now the hollywood whore hugh grant probably wouldn't even touch except for those so strung out on that drug they need that next crack fix. But even someone or something on crack can do one or two things right still rarely, and between the endless columbian candy trail followers, the normal ones still find something maybe one or two times a year with some form of goodness left in it.
...yah that about covers those fuck-ups. I'm so not-liking them even that KOnami arcade pack on DS doesn't keep me interested. Not sure why but the scaling down to such a small screen makes it so I get my ass handed to me in games I shouldn't in the first stage of all things (Gradius and Contra.) That 2nd DS Castlevania was pure blow too...not sure if I'll bother to finish that piece of crap either while the first was excellent.
