So the people that were the "in" crowd just a few years ago, us, the people in their mid to late 20's are either sheep that followed the trends that are pushed to the 15 yo of today or the old farts that remember the "old days" of the 8-16bit generation and the advent of Heavy Metal and such.

Once you start feeling like the later, you just gotta say a big FUCK IT to yourself and to mainstream society as a whole. You know what you like, you know what you don't. Don't let yourself feel ancient because you have a different oppinion than the sheeps around you.

Rock on brother, 16-bit awesome Metal power! :-D
