I'm looking at picking it up from Woomb.net, but I'm a bit torn on it. Loved Ys, so if you've played both in the past and can compare 'em to each other, that'd be great. Xak II is apparently going to be getting added to Woomb down the line as well, and I'd really love to be able to play the PCE CD version afterwards.

Hell, I just want to play the PCE CD version.

I don't think many people on this forum have looked at MSX2 beyond Solid Snake. Ask the same question on msx.org and you'll probably get a bunch of replies.

I used to own a MSX II, hadn't played Xak II, but I Really loved Xak III: the Tower o Gazzel. Very cool intro, nice graphics and great FM-pac music, too. Somehow, some later PC-engine cd-rom games (like Valis II + Y's (= Duh) and all the Telenetgames, reminded me at some of those very cool msx games, like Xak III, Dragonslayer, Aleste II, et all. Ahh, those were tha days.
