Happened to me when i was in korea, bought mine had it for about a year and it came. right after warranty was up (at the time) so i went and bought a new one and returned the old. Yes i know i suck... The new united produced in august 2007 also do it (they lack all the new hardware still) but they still get 3 rings... its gonna be a while before its all gone. Repair times have been shown to take up to 6 weeks now. www.xbox-scene.com is where all my information comes from and i pretty much read everything on there so if you want some more info just ask. Just send it back and they will probably send you a new unit... not refurb.
